John, great build. I'm in awe at the level of detail. I also understand about the "just can't settle" thing. A ways back you mentioned anyone looking for logo decals. Any related to coil-over shocks would be great. If you make, I will buy. A question, wheels & tires???

John, great build. I'm in awe at the level of detail. I also understand about the "just can't settle" thing. A ways back you mentioned anyone looking for logo decals. Any related to coil-over shocks would be great. If you make, I will buy. A question, wheels & tires??? Thanks guys for the kind words. Decals: Larry, PM me with your address. I am pretty sure I have a few spare King decals I can send. I do have the logos for Fox and a few others but don't have them on decal paper. What I should do it put them into a pdf for you guys to download/print for yourself. I will add that to my "to do" list. Tires/wheels: I almost put the half done truck into a box and put it into the attic because of those darn tires. I don't know if I drove all of ya'll crazy asking about tires but it drove me crazy to ask all the time. Eventually I found out that Lindberg 1:20 pickups came with BFGs that scale to about 35" so I started hunting eBay. About a day later a box from Jake came in the mail with a couple resin cast tires made from Lindberg tires (yet another pay it forward occasion). I plan to do the same, cast them (and pay forward). I found a Toyota kit with the tires but they are terrible. I have been told that some kits are better than others so I am still looking for a good one to use to cast. The wheels were "stolen" from my son's 79 Bronco kit. Because the Lindberg tires are larger in diameter, they are also bigger hole for the wheel, much bigger. So I made a thicker rim and a few other mods to make them look a little more like the tires on the real truck. Not exactly correct but close enough. I plan to make the hole smaller in my resin copies to make the hole closer to 15-16" rather than about 18" so they will fit any old rim you have in your parts box. John

That turned out f-ing nice ! You did a great job on this build. I like the little bolts you used along with the little touchs. One thing if I may , you need to add dirt on the back side of the cab were it would flung from the tires just too clean. LOL
Great job .

Hey all. Been a while John, but do you remember what paint you used on the Bronco's wheels?

Yes, it was Rustoleum Enamel- Aluminum color. The stuff that Walmart sells in the auto section. I ran out of "silver" and that was the color I had in the garage. J
