Sweet!! I dig the slotted mags in the swamps. If I may suggest for next time. I would cut the axle tubes off the diffs and drill the diff out to accept tubing and then you can cut the axles to any length you want and won't have to use spacers. Great job so far. Doug R

i know, theyre not actually spacers, those are the stock axles. and the stock rim backing...thats just how its made. i dont like it much either.

Nice man. What did you make your springs out of? They look reall nice and they also look too thin to be styrene.
Are you going on R&R? If so stay safe on traveling to and from. It can get crazy out there.

im on R&R right now, and thx.. the springs are made from the coil in a wind up toy. almost all small wind-up toys have the same size coil. they work really good, and are very flexy

well, here it is.. i actually cut down the wheels a bit, so it doesnt look like big spacers.. im throwin in a pic of the real thing so ya'll can see the inspiration. enjoy mopar1 also, theres more pics here along with the rest of my recent work.. i should be getting out of iraq in a couple months so itll be a while before i get anything else done, but next up is an extreme rock crawling T-bucket s142.photobucket.com/albums/r93/mopar1_mech/PS.. I know the body is wrong, and the grille style is wrong, but hey.. we cant always have what we want right

Thanks guys... I put alot of effort into this one to make it as close to the real thing as possible.. if you look close you'll notice the removable top lines were filled in and the windows customized to get it lookin like my 83... 2 months and i get home to the beast... i have a 4" lift, 3/4 ton axles, and 38's waiting to be crammed under it..... then comes the 408 stroker kit for the 360...muahahahaha watch out mud...here i come Mopar1
