Hey guys I have bee away long enough and I decide to pick up a project. My goal is to get this one done fast. If I take my time I stall out on my builds. Anyway here is the plan; Dana 60s front & rear 4 link rear - 3 link front Coil-overs Swampers with Walker Evans Beadlocks OEM frame with minor tubing Chopped up body (of course) I started with a Tamiya Wrangler that was trashed about 4 years ago. I went ahead and cut most of the fenders off. I still need to clean the back up, but you get the idea. More pics to come. Jake

Thanks Willie, I sure hope my plan works out on this one. The baby has been great this past week. She allows us plenty of sleep at night and she is super easy during the day. I am going to take advantage of this while it lasts.

Hey guys I got the chassis and axles painted and ready to go together. The wheels have also been painted and assembled. I hope to have the suspension completed and glued in place tommorrow. I will post some pics when I get that far.
I also decided that I am going to sell this build on Ebay. I am going to take a ton of pics before I sell it so I have pics of all the parts used. I am going to list it on Ebay and see where it goes. I sold that Prerunner on Ebay for $48 and that was a real hack job. Only time will tell.

Ok folks I got some progress done. I completed the front suspension and glued it in place. I built the shocks using one of my aluminum shock kits. The axles are resin Dana 60 center sections I have casted with styrene tubing. The wheels are resin Walker Evans Beadlocks. I still have to fab up the drag link and steering box. The engine is almost complete and a drive shaft will be fabbed up for the front axle as well. Enjoy the pics, and I hope to have more completed by tommorrow. PS - Tell your friends this build is going to end up on Ebay as soon as it is complete. Jake

Thanks Willie, let's see some pics of your projects. I got the rear suspension completed tonight. It is starting to come together. I need to finish painting the engine and get it glued in place and the front steering still needs completed. I hope to work on it tommorrow. Hopefully I can finsh the chassis completely and start working on the body. Thanks for looking. Jake

Well like I stated the chassis is complete, minus the drive shafts. I had to scratchbuild the pitman arm and glue it to the steering box. It actually came out better than I thought it would. I am going to get a chance to work on the body tonight to fix a few mistakes I made in the past. I am hoping to lay some paint on the body tommorrow. We will see how tonight goes. Enjoy the pics. Thanks to Doug, I was able to decide what color to paint the Jeep. I got the body painted and I also built the swing-out spare tire carrier. I also got the winch painted and glued up front as well. Hopefully I can get some time to fab up the cage and start wrapping this build up. Only time will tell, thanks for looking. Jake

Thanks Mark. The springs were given to me and I don't know where they originate from. I was given some websites to check out and I think I have found what I need. Thanks again, to bad this Jeep only sold for $41. Oh well, LOL
