I started off with two wagon wheel's (from fire fighter dodge 4x4) drilled out the center cap then using a #11 blade i popped off the original molded in lugs, Using a spot sanding pin i cleaned the area up,then drilled at the bottom of each spokes (8 holes) then added plastic rod. I found one more wagon wheel in the tire box, then had to grabbed the fourth out of the warlock kit.then i had enough for this project. The 4x4 hubs i drilled the back out of the chrome reverse wheels from a boondocker blazer (72) kit. and popped out when i had em thin enough. I still need to make another hub for the back wheels with this being a 3/4 wheel, it will be a axle hub.

That looks really good. Plastruct also carries a hexagon styrene rod from .020 all the way up 1/8. Its some really cool stuff. Ya just have to get the cuts just right and try to keep the top flat and square. when you're working on something thats only .020 to .025 tall its a real chore to keep the right shape.

Those Goodyear Wrangler rubber tires were offered in the Revell 4x4 kits for the Jeep Honcho (including the Racer and Dude w/ camper top versions). In the 1996 re-issue Revell modified the wheel to fit the standard hard vinyl tires. The rubber tire also was available on the Revell Datsun king-cab pickup.
MJ, The wheels are great. Keep building those stock 4x4 trucks!
